Description

Pipe fitter
Industry
Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.
TASKS:
1. Plans pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
2. Cuts, threads, and hammers pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
3. Attaches pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
4. Modifies and maintains pipe systems and related machines and equipment components following specifications, using hand tools and power tools.
5. Selects pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
6. Measures and marks pipes for cutting and threading.
7. Assembles pipes, tubes, and fittings, according to specifications.
8. Inspects, examines, and tests installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
9. Lays out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints.
10. Inspects work site to determine presence of obstruction and ensure that holes will not cause structure weakness.
11. Coats nonferrous piping materials by dipping in mixture of molten tin and lead to prevent erosion, or galvanic and electrolytic action.
12. Cuts and bores holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains, using hand and power tools, prior to pipe installation.
13. Turns valve to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe section, using valve key or wrenches.
14. Operates motorized pump to remove water from flooded manholes, basements, or facility floors.

Qualifications
The candidates must know to read 3D isometric drawings. At least 5 years of experience and advanced level on English is mandatory.

Other Information

Contract time: First there is a contract period of 1 month. However, the work is scheduled to be longer – and if the candidate is doing a good job – there will be work available for 2-3 months ahead.
Travel: Our client has an arrangement with its candidates that flight travels will be deducted from the salary with MAX NOK 2.500,- ( Eur: ca. 305,-). The travel costs around NOK 4.000,- both ways, but Bravo covers the rest.
Payment: We offer NOK 140,-(Eur: ca 17,-) each hour. Taxes will be deducted from the salary in terms of tax cards in Norway.
Working hours: There will NOT be paid overtime salary before after min. 46 hours each week – as this is a rotation job. But it is scheduled overtime at this project.
ACCOMMODATION: FREEE 
FOOD: Not free 
TRAVEL EXPENSES: The candidate have to pay MAXIMUM NOK 2.500,- for travel, we will pay the rest of the costs. The Flight expenses will be deducted at the Salary. The travel arrangement is for the first trip to Norway as well as for the last trip home. Travels in between – the candidates has to pay for themselves.

Because of increasing orders, we seek a Machine Setter to our CNC department. Machine Pacific's main task will be restructuring, operation and adjustment of machinery during production. Requirements

We request candidates who has been working in Norway, Scandinavia, USA or/and Canada.

Training will be provided, but we are primarily looking for employees with trade certificate or experience base.
Personal qualities such as initiative and drive that we consider essential.

CNC Milling – Okuma CNC with HEIDENHEIM steering 530 tnc-steering and SOLID CAM steering programme. Setup of small series from start.
HEIDELIUS FA 4 AU machine is also used with the same steering as above.
There is also other machines used in the work-shop, but all with the above steerings.

Requirements

Min 5 years of experience
Preferred age range:  33 – 50 – preferred a family man with intention of moving to Norway after 6 months for direct contract with the client.
English level at B1 is a must.

Other Information

The company is helpful finding accommodation. Accommodation is however not included.
Cost of accommodation will be ca. 16 Euro. Flight cost will be deducted from the 2 first monthly payments. The flight cost is MAX: 312 Euros.
