Working Conditions:      
Working in a loud and busy factory. All jobs require standing doing your work. Factory is wet and can be cold.

To apply in Work and Travel programs the candidates have to be currently enrolled as students !

English Reading Ability:      Good
General Requirements:     Must be hard worker, good attitude, get along well with others in multi-cultural environment, quick learner, willing to work 7 days a week 12-16 hours per day. Must be flexible to work a variety of tasks/shifts. Work on weekends and holidays, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ALL work is based on the availability of fish. If there are no fish, there is no work. All work is in Alaska.
Physical Demands: Must be able to work standing for 12-16 hours per day. Able to lift 50lbs, climb stairs, put on a survival suit and get in life raft unassisted.
Prerequisites:     Must be in good health and be able to be away from emergency medical care for up to 4 months.
Dress Code:     Company will provide first set of rain gear (boots, pants and jackets). Must bring old warm washable clothes, flip flops for showering and tennis shoes to wear when off of shift. NO high heels.

Overtime rate: $12.00
