A landscape gardener designs, develops, maintains and remodels gardens and landscapes.
The job implies stone work (natural stone, slabs and curbs) and garden arrangements.

Typical activities include:
-discussing and developing designs with clients;
-understanding the client's vision;
-producing designs and drawings for prospective projects;
-constructing fences, walls and decking, and laying paving/concrete;
-providing advice on garden maintenance and upkeep;
-installing lighting, garden ornaments and furniture;
-selecting seeds, plants, trees and bulbs and planting these;
-treating soil;
-purchasing materials and equipment;
-calculating costs based on labor, materials and equipment required;
-submitting cost estimates for work required to clients;
-directing and supervising the work of other members of the gardening/landscaping team;
-carrying out necessary excavation, using suitable machinery, for bigger construction jobs, or sub-contracting this type of work as required

The candidates must be skilled in stone work and in gardening
It is also important that the candidates also have knowledge of some motor-driven appliances as well as manual tools.
The level of English required is advanced
The candidates must have minimum 5 years experience in this area
The candidates must be serious, hard working and responsible

Contract time: first there is a contract period of 3 months, however, the the work is scheduled to be longer – and if the candidate is doing a good job – there will be work available for long time ahead.
Travel: the employer has a arrangement with its candidates that flight travels will be deducted from the salary with MAX NOK 2.500,- ( Eur: ca. 305,-). The travel costs around NOK 4.000,- both ways, but the employer covers the rest. THIS IS ONLY FOR THE FIRST TRAVEL – BOTH WAYS.
Payment: Salary  17,75 Euros/hour
Taxes will be deducted from the salary in terms of tax cards in Norway.
Taxes in Norway is from 26 – 36%.
Working hours: Normally 37,5 hours a week – with overtime possibilities.
